The mission home is in a beautiful part of Edinburgh. The properties are surrounded by large rock walls that must have been very plentiful in the late 1800’s. Many of the homes are also built with the stone. We enjoy walks and seeing these beautiful structures.
Edinburgh also offers free bus passes for seniors and youth. The busses are double decker and very nice. I am constantly amazed at the way in which the bus drivers navigate through the narrow streets.
We serve with Elder and Sister Madsen who will be going home soon. They are training us in our new responsibilities. We enjoyed an evening out this last week. They are pictured below on one of Edinburgh’s Beautiful streets.
It is so wonderful to see the beautiful structures and to hear of you experience, thank you for sharing this . The area looks so beautiful too. Yes. Your time will fly by! Because your loving what you do!
Beautiful country! Wonderful adventure!
Scotland is blessed to have you there! You two are awesome!
My late wife’s maiden name was Strathern – I guess it comes from a place called Strathern Valley. I hear there is a bank with that name over there. God Bless you with dry clothes on those misty days and fog filled mornings. After all there is a reason for all that green moss on things. All the best Steve and Joan, from Lisa and Boyd.
I love your website!
Awww, this makes me so happy for you guys! Looks beautiful and you both look so good and happy 🙂 Lots of love and prayers from the Petersons
