The women in our mission office decided this would be a good day to travel to the small town of Galasheil and visit The Museum of Tapestry. The museum is currently displaying the history of Scotland in tapestry. They planned to take a bus (1.5 hours one way).
Now as fun as tapestry may sound to some, the men of the office opted to take a different journey.
We traveled to the little city of North Berwick and climbed a small hill called “The Berwick Law” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Berwick_Law).
After climbing the hill, we had one more stop. We went to see Tantallon Castle:
Unfortunately, this huge castle is collapsing so you are not allowed to go inside, but visitors can go right up to the mote outside of the castle. I hope this will be the first of many castle visits that we have the opportunity to visit.
So fun to see the adventure
Thank you for sharing all your posts and adventures!!! It’s such a beautiful country with great history and ancestry. We continue to pray for the missionaries who join with you in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. We love you and miss you❤️
